The plain-language version of the legal stuff: what RollGuard can and can't promise, how refunds work, and where responsibility sits.
Downloading RollGuard from the App Store means you're agreeing to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your licence to use the app. RollGuard doesn't layer any additional custom terms on top of Apple's standard agreement.
RollGuard's scanning is genuinely useful, but it isn't perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Document, card, and text detection depends on image quality, angle, lighting, and OCR accuracy — some sensitive items may not be detected, and some non-sensitive items may occasionally be flagged. Sensitive-image detection depends entirely on Apple's own on-device model (Sensitive Content Analysis), which we don't control and can't override.
RollGuard is a helpful tool for finding things you might have missed — it is not a guarantee that your camera roll contains nothing sensitive after running a scan.
Nothing in these terms limits any consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country that can't be excluded by agreement — including, for buyers in Australia, guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that goods and services are fit for purpose and of acceptable quality. If a term here conflicts with a right you can't legally waive, your right wins.
RollGuard Pro is sold and billed entirely through Apple's App Store. Refund requests go through Apple, not RollGuard directly, since Apple holds the payment relationship and processes all App Store transactions:
To the extent permitted by law, RollGuard is provided "as is," and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. This doesn't limit any liability that can't be excluded under consumer law in your country — including, for Australian buyers, guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own country of residence.
